Ceremonies and ways of Worshiping

There were daily ceremonies where the public was not allowed to attend, these took place in temples. The statues of the god they were worshiping were tended by priests who had to clean themselves ritually before going into the temple. The public worshiped their household gods at home. At the Ramesseum during the three week long Opet festival 11,400 bread loaves and cakes were eaten, 35 measures of bear was drunk. The Ramesseum is a memorial temple for festivals just like the Opet.
