Ancient Civilisations have developed over time and across space evolving into modern day societies.
Introduction
Around 8000 BC, at the end of the last ice age, the worlds population was made up of small bands of hunters and gathers living at a subsistence level. There groups of people were nomadic. At this time something change which is known as the Neolithic Revolution which turned the nomadic hunters and gathers into sedentary farmers. The big first change was the domestication of animals. Secondly the next change was the cultivation of cereals. The slow improvements of early farming slowly led to surpluses and enabled an increase of population.
